Tuesday, March 10, 2020
You are invited to the 11th annual Spring Fling and Auction on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at the Washington Hilton to celebrate its 17th year of promoting and improving Dupont Circle as one of the best destinations in the City. This year’s event will include a buffet style dinner, live auction, presentation, and live music.
This year’s Spring Fling will include a presentation of our accomplishments over the last year, and a live auction of quality gifts donated by Dupont Circle businesses ranging from hotel stays to restaurant certificates. The night will also feature a presentation by SpaLogic Owner, Kathy Luu, about her journey from Vietnam to Washington, DC as well as music provided by Ciclon Y Su Combo, a Latin band playing Pre-Salsa Cuban songs, Dominican Merengues, Colombian Cumbias, and a variety of traditional Afro-Caribbean dance music.

Once again, we are holding live auction for our Spring Fling event in the Washington Hilton. We will have items from hotels, restaurants, and services around greater Dupont Circle up for auction.
In 2003, a broad coalition of Dupont Circle stakeholders gathered together under the leadership of the Dupont Circle Merchants and Professionals Association (DCMAP) to develop a Main Streets program for Dupont Circle. Today, Historic Dupont Circle Main Streets is a volunteer-driven, commercial revitalization organization that serves to educate businesses about government relations, business issues, and historic preservation; promote businesses through events, branding, and advertising; and improves the value of commercial building owners through economic enhancement.
The Main Streets model for commercial revitalization uses a comprehensive four point approach: 1) Economic Vitality, 2) Design, 3) Promotion and 4) Organization. This revitalization approach is active in over 1,800 communities nationwide. It is a proven model reliant on a small staff and hundreds of community volunteers who simultaneously work on the four fronts to achieve success. The Spring Fling uses 20 volunteers to set up, operate the event, and break down at 9:00 p.m. For volunteering, you earn free admission into the event!
Please fill out the form if you are able to volunteer from 5:00-9:00 on Tuesday, March 10th. Volunteers must be 21 years old or older. Thank you!
